A New Site, a New Focus, a New Trajectory: Ceramic Coating & PPF Take Over the Search Results.

Evoke Auto Spa relaunched on WordPress in July 2025, pairing a full redesign and migration with a strategic repositioning — from general luxury car detailing to Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF) as the lead offering. A focused, time-boxed push on technical SEO, structured data, Google Business Profile optimization, and topical content followed the launch. A year out, the numbers say the repositioning worked.

Redesign, migration, and a deliberate bet on Ceramic Coating and PPF.

The engagement covered a full website redesign and migration to WordPress, launched July 2025, built around a repositioning decision: lead with Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film rather than general luxury detailing. Around the launch, a focused, time-boxed phase of technical SEO (structured data build-out, on-page fixes), local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and topical content aligned to the new service focus was layered in. That work window has since closed — this case study measures what it produced.

Organic search roughly doubled — while position improved by 21 spots on average.

Comparing the 12 months since the relaunch window (Jul 24, 2025 – Jul 23, 2026) to the 12 months before it, Search Console shows sustained, compounding growth — not a launch spike that faded.

Metric Prior 12 Months Post-Launch 12 Months Change
Impressions 37,795 76,925 +103.5%
Clicks 211 511 +142.2%
Average Position 46.2 25.4 +20.8 spots
Click-Through Rate 0.56% 0.66% +0.10pp
The business separately reports a 20.82% increase in overall site traffic and a 63.77% increase in organic traffic in the first 28 days after launch versus the same period the prior year — at a moment when many local service businesses are seeing organic traffic erode as AI answer engines absorb search demand. Our own trailing-12-month Search Console data confirms the same direction at even larger scale over the full year.

This is where the growth is loudest: Every GBP interaction metric up 5-9x year-over-year.

Comparing the 13 months following the relaunch (Jul 2025 – Jul 2026) to the equivalent prior 13-month window, Google's own Business Profile insights show the largest gains anywhere in this account.
Metric Prior Period Current Period Change
Calls 9 88 +877.8%
Direction Requests 91 778 +755.0%
Profile Interactions 154 1,228 +697.4%
Search Appearances 333 2,974 +793.1%
Profile Views 835 6,964 +734.0%
Website Clicks (from GBP) 54 362 +570.4%

Calls climbed sharply off a near-zero base and have stayed elevated — but month-to-month volume is naturally choppy (roughly 3 to 14 calls in any given month) rather than a smooth monthly climb. The honest read: a step-change up right around launch that has held for a year, not a perfectly linear trend line. May 2025 is where Google’s own performance tracking baseline for this profile begins, which lines up with when the optimization push started ahead of the July launch.

Ceramic Coating and PPF pages are the ones actually gaining ground.

The repositioning wasn’t just messaging — dedicated pages were built for the new focus, and they’re the pages showing the clearest ranking and traffic improvement over the past year.

Page Impressions Position Change Click Change

/paint-correction-calgary/ 6,104 +14 spots +9

/evoke-car-detailing-service-calgary/ 2,105 +14 spots +3
/detailing-subscription/ 726 +10 spots +5
The one page still building traction is the newer PPF page (/paint-protection-film-ppf-new/) — 79 impressions and a position that's still settling. That's expected for the newest addition to the lineup and a clear target for the next content push, not a concern with what's shipped.

A strong technical foundation, structured data, and a content and GBP cadence timed to the pivot.

What makes these results notable: they were driven almost entirely by Technical, Local, and GBP work — Content and Authority pillars are still low, meaning there’s real headroom left if that work resumes.

335 of 1,224 flagged on-page issues have been fixed. Domain-level LocalBusiness structured data is live and valid. At the page level, structured data was built out for 37 pages (70 recommended schema objects — Service, FAQ, and comparison-page types among them) but has not yet been deployed live, and 19 drafted Google Business posts are sitting in Pending Review. Both are ready to ship — the optimization window closed before deployment, not before the work was done.

A perfect record, held.

New review volume slowed in the most recent 13 months compared to the prior period (12 vs. 19) even as every acquisition metric climbed — worth pairing a review-request nudge with the strong new call and click volume this year is already producing.

The optimization window closed with real work still queued.

This was a time-boxed push, not an ongoing engagement — and it shows in what’s built but not yet live: 70 page-level structured data objects across 37 pages, and 19 drafted Google Business posts, both currently sitting ready for deployment.

What is proven: a technically strong site (94/100), a successful pivot to Ceramic Coating and PPF reflected in real ranking and traffic gains on the pages that matter, a Google Business Profile performing 5-9x its year-ago level across every interaction metric, and a perfect reputation record.

What’s next if the engagement resumes: deploy the queued structured data and posts, extend topical content to close the Content pillar gap (19/100), and give the newer PPF page the same content investment that made the Ceramic Coating page work.
